Outreach

As part of IBC’s continued mission to give back to the Central Indiana community, students enrolled in IBC’s program have the honor of performing at various community outreach events, fairs and festivals, hospitals, and schools throughout the year. The purpose of these events is to inspire and uplift, as well as educate and entertain, specifically for those children and adults who might not otherwise have the opportunity to see live ballet performances. In addition, these outreach presentations provide additional opportunities for our students to perform and perfect their craft onstage, while also teaching them the value and importance of dancing for a greater purpose than oneself. IBC students have had the honor of performing at the following events or venues, among many others, throughout the years:

  • Penrod Arts Fair

  • Carmel International Arts Fair

  • Riley Hospital for Children

  • Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital

  • St. Vincent Hospital

  • City of Carmel Holiday on the Square

  • Nora Library

  • Fishers Library

  • Carmel Library

  • International School of Indiana

  • St. Thomas Aquinas School

  • Sycamore School

  • Carmel Middle School

  • Heritage Christian School

  • Barnes & Noble Stores
