This is THE Nutcracker to see!!! Staged by IBC’s founder and artistic director Alyona Yakovleva, this treasured ballet sets itself apart from the countless Nutcrackers in the United States. This rare version, closest to the very first Nutcracker that debuted nearly 100 years ago in Russia, can only be found on the gorgeous stage of The Palladium in Indiana.
In addition to the elevated level of dancing by the preprofessional dancers of IBC, alumnus Timoor Afshar @timoreaf of Wiener Staatsballett @wienerstaatsballett will be this year’s Guest Artist. IBC will also be welcoming the phenomenal artists of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra @carmelsymphony and the Indianapolis Children’s Choir @icchoir to bring this heartwarming classic to life!
